One day just wasn’t enough for the Beaverlodge Family Photo Fundraiser so we planned for two days.  The second day was jam packed with bookings from 10am - 4:30pm.

Fundraising - oh how parents dread that word.  The parents at my son’s school (myself included) are no exception, but the fundraising chair of our parent council happens to be wickedly creative and generally awesome.  She’s always coming up with creative ways to raise money for the school that don’t involve just selling things or writing a cheque.

Welcome to Winnipeg Weddings 2011 Part Deux!

Next up on the roster is Kay and Clint.  Kay and my sister have been friends for years, so when Kay mentioned she was looking for a photographer for her wedding, my sister said she knew a great one.  I didn’t even have to pay her to say that, I swear!

Let’s face it people - I am TERRIBLE about updating this blog.  I really have no excuse except to say that I’m easily distracted and kind of forgetful.  I’m a bit obsessive about scheduling my life through iCal for this very reason.

Thane and Sarah took the plunge in early June of this year - and can I just say - what a fantastic couple.

THIS JUST IN - once more we see that a baby has emerged from a belly.  This event seems to be happening at an alarming rate every single day all over the world.

The good news is that this event exponentially increases the cuteness level in the world.

This time I'm featuring Cyndi and Keith's gorgeous son, Nickolas.

Really, I'm not sure the world can handle much more of this cuteness, but there's even more after the jump!

Winnipeg Newborn Photographer

Sooooo... after bellies come - BABIES!  It seems in my case the belly came, then the baby came, then the belly was just still there.  But... I digress.  This isn't all about me, now is it?

No, it sure isn't.  This is about a beautiful little man named Cooper.  We first met Cooper when he was still inside his mum's tum.

He didn't feel like camping out though, he was eager for his moment in the spotlight and here it is!

Bellies, Bellies everywhere!

Yet another belly session!  This one was particularly sweet, as I had the privilege of documenting this couple's wedding a year ago.

Cynthia and Keith are expecting a baby boy in just a few weeks and they are so excited.  I can't say I blame them - boys are pretty awesome :)

A is due in just a couple of weeks and though this will be her 5th child, has never had maternity photos taken before.

I recently had the opportunity to shoot some photos for an amazing Winnipeg drummer - Aaron Edgar.  He  was recently endorsed by Hammerax and wanted some pro photos for the Hammerax and Sonor Drums companies to use.

This guy has a KUHRAZY set up!

Holiday Memorial

For the last 3 years, this ornament has occupied the highest point on our Christmas tree, as a memorial tribute to my niece, Kiersten.  She was killed in a vehicle accident on July 3rd, 2007 when she was 17 years old.  Please let your children know that their life means more to you than being angry at them for breaking the rules.  Driving while impaired is never ok.

Another visit from my little buddy "S" and his mum and dad.  The first time I photographed "S", he was about 6 months old, I think.  Then I had the pleasure of taking his 1 year photos and now he's about a year and a half.  This guy has the most amazing huge, brown eyes.  The ladies will be swooning for sure, if they're not already.
