Solar Maximum! YAY!

Last night, conditions combined to create some sweet aurora viewing.

Massive solar event a couple of days prior, relatively clear skies, no moon, decent temperatures - it was just short of perfect.

If it wasn’t for the haze of smoke from forest fires in Alberta and Saskatchewan and the brutal mosquitoes - it would have been perfect.

I’m a terrible blogger

I really am.  Let’s not even try to sugar coat this, people.  I haven’t updated this blog in almost a year.  You might think that means my life has been a sea of tranquility.

You could think that.  You’d be wrong, but you could still think that, and I wouldn’t hold it against you.

Rather, the last year has been spent living life, with all of its ups and down.  There’s been photography, school, my son’s school, work, more work, blahblahblah.

I got an email the other day saying that my website hosting term was coming to an end and needed renewing.  I suddenly realized that I’m paying for something that I don’t really use.  I mean - really - I update the actual website even less often than I update this thing!  YIKES!

So, I’ve come to the decision that I’m simply going to forward my domain name(s) to this blog.

I’m going to update though.  It’s summer vacation, and being an employee of the public school system, that means I’m on vacation too - YAY!

I’m not going to update right now though - let’s not get crazy.
